"The legislative branch is responsible for enacting the laws of the state and appropriating the money necessary to operate the government. The executive branch is responsible for implementing and administering the public policy enacted and funded by the legislative branch. The judicial branch is responsible for interpreting the constitution and laws and applying their interpretations to controversies brought before it."
The government set a principle stating that every person has the right of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Every branch has different powers, but somehow they are all connected. For example, the president can veto the laws of the Congress. The Congress confirms or rejects the President's appointments and can remove the President from office. The Supreme Court can change unconstitutional laws. All the branches have to work together in order for the government to work.
Government's duty: The government's duty is to make sure that the citizen's safety and phsyiological need are met. They need to make sure that we are living happy in the United States.
We are allowed to live freely, but we can't violate any laws or anything the government forbids. The people that form the government are well chosen because they make sure they are not bad people by looking at their records. The people that form the government are proffesionally trained, so we can rely on them. Their job is to be just and fair.
The government also has the role of prisons:
The government has to make sure that prisoners get equitable treatment while they stay there. Prison is a place where harmful people stay to be taken off the streets where they can do no harm.
* The government is the heart of the United States because they make the U.S work and they protect all of their people

Why does the bald eagle represent America?
"The bald eagle was chosen on June 20, 1782 as the emblem of the United States of American, because of its long life, great strength and majestic looks, and also because it was then believed to exist only on this continent. It is said the eagle was used as a national emblem because, at one of the first battles of the Revolution (which occurred early in the morning) the noise of the struggle awoke the sleeping eagles on the heights and they flew from their nests and circled about over the heads of the fighting men, all the while giving vent to their raucous cries."
History of White House:
"Construction began when the first cornerstone was laid in October of 1792. Although President Washington oversaw the construction of the house, he never lived in it. It was not until 1800, when the White House was nearly completed, that its first residents, President John Adams and his wife Abigail, moved in. Since that time, each President has made his own changes and additions. The White House is, after all, the President's private home. It is also the only private residence of a head of state that is open to the public free of charge." It has survived thrugh many things including fire.
